Although at the time of wedding, couples do promise for remaining together throughout life yet many times circumstances change and couples wish to be separated from their spouse for a period of time before finally deciding for divorce. When both partners decide to separate without immediately filing for divorce, they can reach to an agreement on the basis of mutual consent in the form of deed of separation.
Deed of separation is a legal document that is used as a legal binding on both partners and being private, it is not lodged in the Court. Deed of separation serves the purpose of setting out terms and conditions that govern the relationship between husband and wife during period of separation.
